Woman on the Verge of Discovering the Theory of Everything consists of a series of 9 diptychs in which each pair works as a whole to portray the feeling of freefall as an inevitable response to the current labour system of instability, precarity and zero hours contracts.
The work documents the scientific performance of deep experiential experiments. This project relates these experiments to classical physics, where classical physics may imply certainty: if you know the position and speed of a body, you will know everything of its future. These experiments seek to find a universal structure, an empirical mathematical reason to prove how inequality and labour precarity work in favour of profit and power. The study performs a quantum leap, starting from the ground up, reaching the conclusion that resistance, however futile, is essential.
